Meet Sue McMullen - 'Shoe Lady Sue'.
Sue was a volunteer for seven years at the Medina Community Services Center before it closed. She sorted, sized, shined & shelved all the shoe donations, thus earning the title "Shoe Lady Sue"! She is currently the 'Sunshine Lady' for our Medina County Retired Teacher Association. We salute Sue for her wonderful volunteer work! |

Volunteer Sally Harbath has contributed over 5,000 hand knit sets of baby hats and booties to newborns at Medina Hospital. She began this in 1998 after the birth of her grandaughter and has logged in an amazing 37,000 hours. How does she find the time? Sally was seldom spotted without her knitting needles in her hands. The retired Buckeye High School business teacher kept so busy, it was a wonder she ever had time to work during her 21 year teaching career. Active and available to her three grandchildren who live nearby, Sally Horbath knows how to enjoy life. Way to go, Sally!!
