       MUSICAL MEDINA CHRISTMAS

     Date: December 13, 2025             Cost:$37 (includes dinner & arts ticket)
                                                                                 
     Time: 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm           Pick up: No bus, park at the church on the square

   We will first celebrate Christmas on the Square.  Our day will start at 3:00 pm with a Christmas Concert performance by John Burke on the piano and organ at the United Church of Christ Congregational on the Square.  We'll then move to their Social Hall for a special presentation by Main Street Medina.  Finally, everyone will get their choice of a fun Christmas gift.  

   At 4:45 pm, we'll meet at Jane's Diner on the Square for dinner (included) of chicken paprikas.  This is a homemade crowd favorite at this popular new restaurant.

   After dinner, we'll head to the Performing Arts Center for a great Christmas Show (7:00, included) by the Brass of the Western Reserve, a popular Medina Christmas tradition.

​   Hope you and someone special will want to make this a special day in Medina, and don't forget to get a Christmas picture at the gazebo!

Scholarship and Boomhower

              SCHOLARSHIP 

     Scholarship 'cups' will continue to be available at our MCRTA meetings. 50/50 funds the Boomhower Grant. These have been wonderful ways to add to our scholarship and grant funds.  (We need to raise $3000 each year for these).  Contributions can be made at any time. All funds raised now will benefit our 2026 winners.  Your generosity is so appreciated.

  $1000 - Platinium/Scholarship named in your honor

The search is under way usually each year (if funds are availblee) for scholarship winners.   Any Medina County School graduate is eligible.  College students must be juniors or senior in the next fall and be majoring in Education.   Contact Amy Panchumarti, 330-635-1106, [email protected] or check this website under Applications. Applications must be in by May 31 of each year.


          TEACHER GRANTS

Teacher Grants are awarded to any active teachers currently teaching in Medina County schools. Applications can be downloaded below on this website (or contact Lin Crane at greglincrane@roadrunner )and must be mailed in by May 1st of each year.
